As a business heavily involved in customer service, I'm sure you get plenty of negative feedback. This is not one of those comments... Early in April, I made a Service Appointment through John. The process was easy and he was accomodating and professional. Since I have VIP, arrangements were made to pick up my bike and transport to Danbury. Sean the driver called me prior to the scheduled time and advised me of the pick up. Sean was also throughly professional and extremely informative regarding pick up. I wasn't home at the time of pick up but it went smoothly. Sean and I had excellent communication. My Service Appointment was scheduled for April 7th and my bike was picked up and delivered to Danbury without an issue. During my last visit to Danbury, I ordered some parts for my bike. Chris handled the transaction efficiently and professionally. After my bike was there for a few days, I called John in Service and to find out the status. He continued to treat me respectfully (calling me sir!).

This was my first purchase from this dealer,not my first Harley. I've known Al for a long time but never bought a bike from him until now. My experience was by far the best I have ever had. Even though my bike had no warranty when I bought it and got it home it had a few hiccups. They came and picked up my bike and made everything right. They didn't have to but they did. I would never go to another dealer again. Customer satisfaction is what Al and his team are all about. Sorry Al it took me so long ,but now you have a customer for as long as I can ride .

I've been a customer at Danbury Harley for almost 20 years I think. I've bought 5-6 bikes there over that time period and can't speak highly enough of the entire team. I don't even live in CT any longer but still buy my bikes there. I am treated so well on my trades, my service, the entire buying experience each and every time has been exactly how you hope it would be. I can't speak highly enough of this dealer, except to call myself their customer for life.

Just wanted to shout out a special thank you to you all for your help. The bike is riding flawlessly. The 45mph oscillation is completely gone. I was also experiencing some vibration in general, particularly over 60 mph and that is gone too! (i never mentioned that as I honestly couldn't say whether or not that was just the way the bike was, but I now know for sure that it is not) Now everything is as smooth as sliding tow pieces of glass with a layer of oil in between. I couldn't possibly be more pleased! Thank you all for your help and perseverance and special attention towards getting everything just right. Be assured it is greatly appreciated. Just Picked up my 2019 Street Glide here's the 411. I walked into the dealership because they host the local HOG chapter they show interest in the sport. John Murray approached me and asked if I needed information on a motorcycle. I told him I was looking for a 2019 Street Glide with ABS and GPS he showed me a showroom bike and introduced me to the finance person, when I asked about financing, who explained all the purchase options. I went back a couple days later John approached me and asked me if I was still interested, he contacted the finance dept and I spoke to the finance person nothing about the deal changed, they play zero games, are true to their word and I purchased the motorcycle. I'm happy say communication and customer service at Danbury HD are excellent, John Murray returns texts every time without fail as does Carl, AL and Dan, even after they know the sale is a done deal, I ask lots of questions.. As a matter of fact once I bought the motorcycle their customer service/care increased. I'd recommend anyone looking for a Harley to stop in ask for John and give these people an opportunity to proudly show you their dealership and special brand of customer service, give them an opportunity to get you on a Harley new or used.

I arrived an hour before the Dealership opened to ensure that I gave them enough time to perform all the work necessary. I had a list of requests & questions for the service dept, but decided to just let them do their job & trust everything they were going to do. I was not disappointed!They itemized the work order & used the best fluids on the market. FormulaPlus, Syn3, etc. I see on H-D forums all the time how dealers take shortcuts on products & labor. I am so glad Sue explained the VIP plan as well as Moto Tech protection. This 2014 Ultra Limited will be with me for a long time. I called the dealership on Friday & briefly spoke with Jim. I had done my research on the 2014 Ultra Limited. He asked me what I wanted to offer for the bike. I quoted him less than what I found at the dealerships on Long Island.He said he would call back after he spoke to Al, one of the owners. 20 minutes later Jim said that he had one picked out for me. Sight unseen, I gave a deposit of a thousand dollars, fully refundable. I picked up the bike the following Tuesday & left my car sitting at the dealership until I could retrieve it a few days later.Everyone at H-D of Danbury exceeded my expectations. Sue had all the paperwork finished while I was shown around to every department & went shopping for goodies. I was given a tee-shirt, played poker for a gift certificate, was given more stuff & had my picture taken then rang the BELL! I had the time of my life then rode off Back to L.I. for the second time of my life that day!

I recently ordered parts from the H.D. online store (getting lazy, I guess). When I received my order both parts were the wrong parts! I used the filter on the H.D. website for year and model, 1999 FXDL(been in storage for 14 years, only 1600 miles), I ordered the two parts from that filtered list. I didn't realize the mistake until I was putting the mufflers on my bike,then I looked at the console and it was for a different model! Not trusting the H.D. online store, I went to Danbury H.D. and was assisted by Liam Gleason the Parts Manager. He went out of his way to fix the mess someone else created. I just wanted to publicly thank the Service Department at H-D of Danbury.Last week on my way to Rolling Thunder in DC, I hit a massive pothole at 70 mph on 84S just over the CT line into NY before exit 20. Not sure how I did not dump the bike, but I lost my front rim & tire. Was towed back to Danbury Harley in CT where I was told they did not have the rim in stock and I would have to wait a day or two.Danbury actually removed a wheel and tire off of a model on the showroom floor to get me back on the road after the insurance examiner had arrived with a check and approved the repair. All in all it was a 5 hr delay but they got us back on the road to continue on our mission!It is the small things like this that make you guys f'n great! Thank you so much once again. I sought out a bike I really liked from a post on your website. I came in only to look at the bike up close and come closer to a decision about buying a bike. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with the warmest smile and kindest welcome from Lynn. This totally set the tone for what was going to be an awesome experience.I walked the show floor to find the bike I saw online; an 08 Road King. No sooner did I lay eyes on her than Matt greeted me and told me if I had any questions to feel free to ask. I had a ton of questions and Matt was beyond helpful - as he was the one who actually posted the bike online. When I had questions he didn't have the answer to (I think it was only one - he's a really knowledgeable guy) he summoned Colleen.Colleen took over and absolutely continued to add to the atmosphere and I really felt that I belonged (I haven't ridden in over 10 years so I was feeling a bit out of the loop and slightly intimidated just going in). I chatted with Colleen for a bit about everything ranging from bikes to relationships to dogs - it was awesome. She's probably one of the most attentive staff members of any business that I've ever dealt with. She then introduced me to Ryan in parts.This is where I really got tense because it was time to pick out parts that I wanted for my bike and I still wasn't even sure that I was ready to buy one. The last thing I wanted to do was seem uninformed. Ryan blew that right out. Laid back cat he is and razor sharp with product info and what would work well on my particular bike. He even answered what had to be the most basic and dumb questions, but he did so with such professionalism and courtesy. I was put even more at ease as Lynn bounced from the back with her killer smile - she was excited about her vacation.Now it was off to meet Paul in finance. Oh how I dreaded this. My credit is less than stellar but I had potential lenders, still, I wanted to hear what Paul had to say. As it turned out, none of the lenders worked out and I was on the phone with Paul the next day. Talk about a dude who bends over backwards (and sideways and somersaults)! Paul is the embodiment of amazing customer service. He somehow managed to get me everything I wanted on the bike with still a relatively low payment schedule. Patience! This cat has patience in spades and I couldn't be happier that I got to work with him on this.In short this was an unparalleled experience. The best customer service achievable I feel and was made possible by an incredible staff who are all enthusiastic and knowledgeable about their brand and who really enjoy where they are and what they do. She answered all of my questions and was so helpful with all the details. Within no time I was the proud owner of that 2012 Forty-Eight. I did find however, that because I am short in height, I didn't reach the forward controls very well. Since Bill was so helpful, I turned to him to ask what I should do. He immediately looked up the 'reduced reach' seat, quoted me a price and I was all set. He also went over service for the motorcycle with me. Mr. Lucchino, Having spent a great week in Main with my daughter and her family I was heading back towards Maryland when on Sunday afternoon on 21 July and about 25 miles from your dealership on I-84 I developed a wobble in the front wheel of my 2008 FLSTC. After pulling over to the side of the road I called the Connecticut State Police as there wasn't much of a shoulder on either side of the road. They arrived within minutes and provided assistance in obtaining a tow truck as Road America was going to take too long to get there. There was a safety issue in being parked where I was for an extended period of time. When talking to one of the patrolmen he recommended taking the motorcycle to your dealership. Of course by the time we arrived you were closed for the evening. As the motorcycle was being removed from the tow truck, a Mr. Dave Williams arrived and inquired what the problem was - he was picking up his car that had been left at the dealership parking lot. I found out he is a customer of yours and works for the Danbury Police Department. As there was a hotel right across the street he offered to transport my bags across the street to the hotel, where I did find a room for the night. It was on Monday morning that I met you when you came out to where I was sitting on my motorcycle waiting fore the service department to open and you explained everyone was getting things ready to open and inquired what my problem was. After listening to my explanation about what happened, you asked if I wanted any coffee or if I needed to use the restroom. Thank you for asking and that little conversation put me in a positive mood for the start of the morning. Things turned even brighter once the doors opened. The service writer, Rich Wong, listened to my story and while he stated he didn't know what the problem was, he would get someone to take a look at it and let me know. He asked me to have a seat in the lounge area and he would let me know as soon as he found out what the problem was. I did not have to wait long when he told me the front bearing was destroyed. He then told me about how long it would take to replace it and what the total cost would be. I said it sounded good and the repairs started. Once the repairs were completed I was surprised when the bill was less the amount I had been quoted. It seems that Mr. Wong checked the VIN number and found I had an extended warranty in which the front bearing was covered, which reduced my out of pocket expenses. I thanked and applaud Mr. Wong for taking the time to check to see if I had an extended warranty. As I was settling the bill, Mr. Wong explained to me what the tech had found when he was checking out the problem. Me being the kid whose mother always told him ' to stay away from the wheelbarrow as I didn't know anything about machinery' when I was growing, told him I would pass the information on to the service manager at Annapolis. The bottom line is I would like to thank you, Mr. Wong and the rest of the personnel of your dealership for the prompt service and hospitality I received while I was experiencing a small bump in the road. When I travel back your way in the future, I will plan on stopping in for a visit. Thanks again,

Over the years we have built a friendship as well and that's why I feel I should tell you about how great your employees are. Over the years I have had nothing but great experiences with your staff and I had yet another one with Lynn Jelly back in June. I was shopping for a birthday gift for my girlfriend when I found some H-D brand jewelry on the website and then came to the dealership to purchase it. Because I am the typical male and procrastinate when it comes to shopping for gifts I was panicked when I realized the items were not in stock and that's when Lynn comes in and saves the day! Lynn quickly went to her computer and worked her magic to get it added to an order that was about to be shipped to your dealership to ensure I would have it in time. It arrived as promised and was a huge success with my girlfriend. I have dealt with Lynn countless times over the years and she always comes through. Also you should know about Liam and Chris at the parts / accessories counter. These guys are top notch and can answer any question I have ever had and always go out of their way to help me out. When it comes to maintenance on any of my bikes through out the years your guys have always treated me like a king and when Bob retired Dan stepped in and to my surprise has made it even better than I thought possible. When I come in the maintenance shop I'm always greeted by Rich and every time he seems willing to move mountains for me to ensure my bike and I get the best treatment possible. The owner came over to talk about this year new motorcycles, clothing, parts and the service department and was friendly and very out going. His name was AI Lucchino. If I lived in Connecticut I would buy my 2013 Street Glide from there. The second gentleman I would like to commend is Bill Fuller, the service writer for the Danbury Harley-Davidson Service Department. He was courteous and well spoken about the products and service that the dealership provides. As I said before my friends extended warranty was not in the system, Bill took the time to call and to reassure a customer that everything was put in the computer system correctly. He answered my friends questions about the service and put a customer at ease. He even made a new customer. I don't know what the corporate office does for its dealerships, but I would like these two gentlemen be recognized for there outstanding customer service. Al - As you know I am a major and loyal fan of Harley-Davidson of Danbury. The ongoing excellence delivered by your team is a keen indicator of your skilled leadership. Yesterday was just another example of 'defining excellence'. Yes, I know we saw each other several times and laughed yesterday...But here is the bottom line: Liam and his Parts team are the best at what they do. Yeah, stuff happens, but he goes out of his way to deliver a level of service that I have to experience at any dealership. He looks for solutions and finds them. If the answer is not obvious, he will go the extra mile to find alternative solutions. Funny, dedicated and knows his stuff! While attempting to install a fog light bulb at the dealership, I loudly expressed my frustration when it failed to work. Dan was working with another customer and heard my 'F_CK!!!'. He could have easily ignored what was going on with me but did not. He paused his conversation, looked at me and said, 'What's up?' I explained what happened and he calmly said, 'Don't worry about it. We'll take care of it. Tell Bill to get a mechanic out here to look at the bike and we will do it now for you.' What? Now? At 5:45PM? Neil came over to me, asked what's up and took the bike in the shop. I was informed my attempt to install the bulb was foiled by a short in the harness wiring and bad fuse. Bike was fixed. Dan is 'THE MAN' and THANK YOU!!! As I was leaving, Dan then went on to suggest the next time the bike is in for service, I have a circuit board installed to help clean up the messy wiring under the seat. To be sure this will be done! In both cases the option not to help' was NEVER an option. This customer-centric thinking cannot be taught; this is simply who these men are. Yesterday I was not a customer I was simply a person that needed help and both responded in kind. Al, you now understand why I am such an advocate. Bravo to you and the team!

I don't want to sound like a broken record, but once again the Service Department came through for me with flying colors. They traced another intermittent electrical problem that was causing my speedometer, directional signals, and brake lights to shut down. They finally found the problem after dropping the front wheel found and fixed a bare wire to the running light. There is nothing more difficult than an intermittent short in the wiring system on a bike. I am constantly amazed at their skill in finding, and correcting these types of problems in such a short time. Thanks again to everyone in the service department. They are all 'Top Shelf'

The Service Dept is fantastic. Last Fall I brought my Heritage with a 131 Jims engine and there was an intermittent electrical short because it was turning off at unexpected times. I was skeptical that they would be able to trace the shorted wires causing this problem as there was a lot of aftermarket gear on this bike including Nitrous Oxide. I had the bike back in 2 days and they found 3 crushed wires. Bike has been running fine ever since the repair. This Spring I had a Power Commander removed as it did not play well with the Jims 131 Engine. H-D of Danbury installed a H-D Pro Race Tuner and I had the bike back in just less than two weeks due to the fact that it was the busiest part of the year this was fast service. I had been told by another dealership it would take over a month to do the same work. The bike runs like a Swiss watch with 130 FPT. Thanks especially to Bill, Rich and Neil.

I've been to Harley dealers all over the country and in Rome, London and Paris. I spent 31 years in sales and always like to see how businesses treat their customers. I can tell you that Al and his team know how to treat customers. When other Harley dealers treated you like they were doing you a favor to take your order so you could wait 6 months or more for a bike, Al worked to make you his customer. He treats you like you are a member of the Harley and Danbury families. Whether you have a Masters Degree or are a Master Electrician, whether you have a suit or tattoos, he and his team treat you with respect and like you are the most important person in the store. They make sure you are happy with your parts, service and especially your bike purchases and follow up to be sure things are OK. Maybe that is why they have grown their business from the former Brewster dealership, which I also frequented, (and was in the basement of a house and had an aluminum screen door) to the big, modern, professional operation they now have. Maybe that's why they are still in business while others in the area have closed. Like most buyers, I look for a good deal and good service. I was one of their first customers and have been a repeat customer. I have tried to find a reason to do business with a different dealer, but I can't. And I won't.

In the late spring I purchased the above Screaming Eagle motorcycle. I was very excited since it was a birthday present I was buying myself for my 50th birthday. The bike had a low speed lean pop through the throttle body on take off almost causing a dropped bike. I brought the bike back to the dealer a few time with no results. They said they could not duplicate the problem and did not fix the problem. Unfortunately the dealer explained that 'since they do not build the bike they can not help me'. The reason for this letter is not to raise concern over the dealer's action, where I purchased the bike, but to tell you about an amazing customer experience I had once customer service stepped in and directed me to an alternate dealer. After many attempts to fix my bike (at the original point of purchase) I was directed to Al Lucchino at Harley-Davidson of Danbury. Al took control of the situation and personally saw to it that my motorcycle was ready to go with me to Sturgis this year. Al, I would like to thank you for the support and service I received at your dealership. I recently moved here from the Atlanta area. While riding one Sunday I was having problems with my Dyna. I stopped at your dealership and talked to Jim Lawlor. I know people that just walk in are not a normal thing particularly on a Sunday. However Jim made me feel like he had nothing to do but help me (which I am sure was not true). He looked at my bike and promptly told me what he thought the problem was, scheduled an appointment for me and instructed me how to safely get home. That being great service in itself, when I brought the bike in for service I was even more delighted. The bike was fixed the same day and perfectly to my satisfaction. The repair was right on and I feel like I have a new bike (although I know you and Harley-Davidson would not mind if I bought a new bike). I would like to praise, and thank the Harley-Davidson of Danbury Service Dept's great work. I brought in my Heritage with an intermittent short that caused the engine to cut out completely. I had figured that it was going to be a real PITA job as most intermittent electrical shorts are tough to find especially when the engine has to be hot for a certain amount of time before the problem appears. The bike had a Jim's 131 engine and a great many extra electronic accessories that were wired into the electrical system. I figured it would take at least 2 weeks to find the problem. The mechanic did a great job and managed to trace it down to two pinched wires on the coil and the fuel pump. I had the bike back in a week and I was really grateful. I took it out for a 225 mile test ride yesterday and it performed flawlessly. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the problem is gone for good. Great work gang.

Dear Al, I would like to 'thank you!' for a fantastic buying and servicing experience at H-D of Danbury. From the time I started 'window shopping' in early 2010 to my recent purchase of the pre-owned Dyna, I have been warmly greeted by Jelly & Jean and assisted in a friendly, engaging fashion (no pressure though). The saleswomen are always knowledgeable, encouraging, but not pushy and they make buying fun biker clothing that much more enjoyable! And then I began to look at the bikes I was greeted just as promptly and warmly by the salesmen and my questions were not dismissed. Most recently Matt, Dave, Joe and of course Jim, were all tremendously helpful. I began looking at the 2003 FXD Dyna in early April and Jim was informative, engaging but did not pressure me. He knew about the bikes and riding and we talked of life and bikes and I left the shop feeling good about the interaction. He followed through with an email but was not 'pestering' about returning or whether I was going to purchase the bike. Later that month I attended a bike fest at the dealership and met Melinda and other HOG members. I signed up for LOH and Melinda was so friendly about welcoming me to her newly formed LOH ladies! The men (Mike and others) were also welcoming and I enjoyed the festivities and shopping with Jelly and Jean again! I really appreciate the extensive collection of women's clothing and accessories. I kept my eye on the 2003 Dyna, but didn't think I could actually ride it - meanwhile, Jim sent a little e-mail, nothing too much, just touched base - that was nice. What really tipped me toward thinking about my purchase was the group ride I attended to Harriman State Park on my Suzuki 800. The HOG group was so welcoming and I had a great time meeting everyone as they gathered at the dealership! After that ride, I knew I wanted my own Harley - and the 2003 was still there on the showroom floor! I test road the bike twice, Matt was terrific as a test ride person. I asked him to take me to certain type roadways and he was attentive and informative with my questions (2nd test ride). All the while, Jim was a terrific gentleman, he really was instrumental in my purchasing experience, kind and considerate he never dropped a ball. When he wasn't available, Dave and Joe were also terrific and took messages or just smiled and remembered my name when I walked around the showroom. Ron in finance was a pleasure to work with; he was diligent and also attentive friendly, efficient! And finally the guys in service and parts! I can't tell you how nervous I was about asking for service and asking questions about the bike's mechanics I am not very knowledgeable about the mechanics but the men in service were kind and good-natured. Jim made sure things were done as promised and my bike was all finished up today after the blinkers were moved and accessories installed! EVERYONE was WONDERFUL!!!! You have a superior, knowledgeable, friendly staff and I enjoyed your personal attentiveness and accessibility, AL. So 'THANK YOU!'

Recently I purchased a Fat Boy Lo from your dealership and two years ago I purchased a Fat Bob. I am a partner in a CPA firm in Fairfield, CT and just as I would want feedback on how our firm operates I wanted to share my experience with your dealership and in particular Dave Selwitz. First of all, the dealership staff is terrific, everyone is friendly, doesn't talk over your head and goes out of their way to be helpful. That goes for every single department. Pat from your parts department took time out of his day to sit with me and go through each additional item and part that I wanted for the bike. Multiple sales people would ask how we are doing including Jim and Matt and in a very non aggressive, helpful manner. Emile was great as well. With regard to Dave in 2009 he gave me his personal email address which I did not ask for, but he provided as a courtesy. With my schedule playing phone tag is difficult, so him offering his personal email address was great. I have used this occasionally as I would ask him questions or advice with regard to upgrades, etc. and he always responded timely and with good information. In March of this year I began looking for a new bike. I am not an emotional purchaser, I tend to purchase after I have thoroughly researched every aspect of the product. I reached out to Dave in March with several questions, two months later I bought a bike. He was extremely responsive, and very patient with me. Dave is very knowledgeable and provided excellent information to find the right bike for me. I made multiple trips to the dealership and Dave was patient with each visit, and not pushy. He even gave me his personal cell phone number. He offered to come in on his days off to assist me in any way he can. Even this past weekend after my purchase he emailed me again just to thank me and see if I had any questions. On Sunday I called the dealership because I was thinking of changing handlebars, he answered the phone and I knew you guys were very busy that day and short staffed. He put me on hold and went to my bike and we discussed it while he was looking at my bike. To do that while you were short staffed, after the sale, is extremely impressive. Even today he is scheduled to speak with me over the phone regarding some upgrades. I find this very impressive that a sales person would take that much time after the sale is complete. Frankly, that is the most impressive thing, to treat me the same way after the sale is terrific. Just wanted to give you some feedback on your dealership and Dave. Your dealership is top notch. I have referred two separate individuals to your dealership and Dave this Spring so far and I am happy to say I can do that with confidence. Best wishes,

Mr. Lucchino, I'd like to bring to your attention 3 members of your service staff. On Monday of this week, my 07 Super Glide refused to start while at SSR Equipment on Mill Plain Road in Danbury. It was late afternoon. I phoned your service department and spoke with Bob who attempted to ascertain the cause. I was certain it was something simple that had to do with the security system, but even with Bob's help over the phone, was unable to get started. He was very patient with my failed attempts. Even though it was late in the day, he sent Scott over with the box truck to pick me up. Scott also attempted to get me running. As he was pulling the truck into the parking lot I realized that I had left the bike in 1st gear because it was on a hill. That, of course was the reason the bike wouldn't start originally, but by this time the security system was angry with me and wouldn't play ball. Scott loaded the bike into the truck and drove me back to the dealership. It was nearly closing time by now. Jim came out as we were driving in. I explained what had happened. Of course he had the bike running 30 seconds after it was unloaded from the truck. He also went through the menu to check for and fault codes and determined that everything was fine. Through all of this, each person from your staff could not have been nicer of more helpful. I felt it was important that you know and wanted to suggest that you recognize them in whatever way you feel is appropriate. People like this are a credit to your organization and the reason I will continue to come back for service and recommend you to others. Sincerely,

Al, Last night I called to make an appointment for the 5000 mile service on my 'Glider.' Actually there is closer to 5600 miles because I am enjoying the bike so much I lost track of the mileage last fall. Bob took my call and I told him when I would like to have the service done. I told him I would leave the bike and make arrangements for a ride home and pick the bike up when it was ready. He said if I could be there at 9:00 one of the techs would start work on it immediately and I could have the bike back in short order. Al, I have been riding since 1958; my first bike was a 1947 Springer Knucklehead 61cc with a tank shift and foot clutch. My most recent bike is a 2011 Street Glide... What a difference... What a time span... I have ridden the new bike for the past two weekends and I am extremely happy with it. Primarily the fit, I thank you for the reach seat. The bike seems like it was made especially for me. The center of gravity is lower than the Road King therefore giving me greater control. I also noticed the new cylinders are jewel cut. I don't remember whether the original ones were, the jewel cut sure sparkles on this installation. The brakes are fixed - the mushy feel is gone. I went to H-D of Danbury and met with Todd, who was totally awesome. I rode a used Street Glide on a demo ride. Todd informed me of the differences between the used Street Glide and a new one. Al and Carl, I just wanted to take a second and send you both a note regarding your dealership and the folks that are the 'frontline' representatives of both. I had been off the road for a lot of years and while living in this area had always been tempted to pull into your lot and jump back in. There were always reasons not to but for some reason I made the stop this past Summer. Your team (led by Todd) made we welcome, comfortable, and essentially let the class of your product and dealership make all the points that needed to be made. I bought my 883 Sportster in June and while it was never advertised or promoted, I was influenced (in very small part) by the fact that this was the 40th anniversary of a bad TV program that still left an impression on me as a 16 year old ... 'Then Came Bronson'. In all seriousness, what mostly sold me was the environment of the dealership and the folks that were clearly proud of the product they represented. I have been back quite a bit since June for accessories and eyeing the possible 'next steps' and in all cases have been welcomed with the same class and comfort as when I first entered. First of all, when I called lat night, I was interrupted by my neighbor who came over to share the excitement and admiration of my new toy, a 2009 Road King Classic, so our conversation was cut short. I am an honest person and I do realize that Harley-Davidson of Danbury in their history has never taken a trade in site unseen. At the same token, I believe that my 2007 UIral was everything I said it was and I appreciate you going out on a limb to accommodate me in this transaction. Since I had recently purchased it on eBay with a title in hand, I did not want to go to MV to file the title and wait for it to go through their system since I was clear on what I wanted. Which is why I was unable to bring my Ural in for prior viewing. Which brings me to my purchase experience with Harley-Davidson of Danbury. I want you to know that I had a choice. I live equidistance to two dealerships both within 10 miles of where I live. H-D of Danbury is almost an hour from where I live. I had an opportunity to call both dealerships within proximity to my home prior to calling H-D of Danbury. I was not impressed to say the least with the other stores. It was VERY clear to me after my first call to Colleen that this was the Dealership that I wanted to do business with. I found my experience with your staff to be professional and most importantly accommodating. I also wanted to praise Christine as she was so GREAT in coordinating all the throughput in the delivery of my new bike. I wanted to send you a note and thank you and your staff again. I purchased a 2002 Sportster from H-D of Danbury to get back into riding. I then graduated to something bigger and went back and purchased a 2003 Dyna Wide Glide. Carl and Al bent over backward to make sure I was pleased! The parts and motor clothes departments are always fully stocked and the staff is friendly and consistently willing to answer all your questions. The Service department has been outstanding; they make sure that the smallest of details are satisfied. I recently received a phone call inquiring if my recent routine Service went well and wanted to know if I was completely satisfied. What great follow up!
